Booking training for new clinic staff
Training is included in your subscription — using it generously is the cheapest support ticket prevention there is.
What's on offer
- New-starter sessions (45 minutes, video, role-based): reception/admin, nursing, or GP-focused. The GP session spends most of its time on the scribe, because that's where new-doctor habits form (KB-014 — AI scribe — getting the best transcription quality).
- Feature deep-dives (30 minutes): claiming workflows, scribe best practice, recalls and reminders, reports. Useful when one workflow generates disproportionate friction — three tickets on the same topic from one practice usually earns you a proactive invitation anyway.
- Go-live refreshers for practices a month past migration — the questions that only surface once real work has been done for a few weeks.
- Self-serve materials: quick-reference cards and short videos, linked from this KB and requestable in print.
How to book
Raise a ticket at support.curaeon.com.au with "Training session booking" as the one-line summary. Tell us roles, headcount and preferred times — we schedule within 10 business days, and sessions run on video at your practice's convenience (lunchtimes work well; we bring the agenda, you bring the sandwiches).

Getting the most from a session
- Book training in week one, not month three. Habits formed on guesswork take longer to retrain than to train — and the new starter who "picked it up as they went" is statistically your next six support tickets.
- Small and role-specific beats whole-practice and generic — a receptionist and a GP need different 45 minutes.
- Send us your questions beforehand; a session shaped around your actual friction beats our default agenda.
For practice managers: the quiet metric
Your portal's reporting shows tickets per practitioner for your practice — new-starter clusters are visible a mile off, and a single training session typically flattens them. If you're seeing repeat how-to tickets, book the session; it's already paid for.
